Moseley to start at Vanderbilt

Clint Moseley will start at quarterback for the second straight week when Auburn takes on Vanderbilt in Nashville on Saturday morning.

Auburn coach Gene Chizik announced  Moseley will be the starter for the Tigers (1-5, 0-4 SEC) on Thursday night’s Tiger Talk radio show.

Chizik said he told Moseley and Kiehl Frazier, who started the first five games of the season, of the decision Thursday afternoon.

Moseley went 11-for-18 for 112 yards with an interception in Auburn’s 41-20 loss at Ole Miss last week. Frazier is 56-for-103 for 644 yards with two touchdowns and eight interceptions in five games this season.

Coaches said Frazier was available to play last week despite an undisclosed arm injury which prevented him from fully participating in pregame warmups. Chizik reiterated Frazier’s arm injury is “nagging.”

Neither quarterback was available for comment this week.
