Louis, Coates to see more time and Davis, Whitaker out

In response to questions from fans during the Tiger Talk radio show Thursday night, Auburn coach Gene Chizik said wide receivers Ricardo Louis and Sammie Coates need to get on the field more.

Louis has two receptions for 15 yards this season and ran twice out of the Wildcat for two yards last week. Coates has four receptions for 92 yards with a touchdown but has not caught a pass since a 42-yard reception against Ole Miss.

In injury news, Chizik said cornerback Chris Davis and defensive tackle Jeffrey Whitaker are out this week.

Davis has a concussion and did not play last week. Whitaker did not dress the past two weeks with an undisclosed injury.
