McKinzy makes second start

Cassanova McKinzy made his second career start at middle linebacker in place of Jake Holland (right ankle) in Auburn’s 38-0 loss to Georgia Saturday night.

Considered better against running team, McKinzy made seven tackles as Georgia gained 289 rushing yards on 42 carries with two touchdowns.

“They did what they had to do to win the game,” McKinzy said. “They’re very good. They were very consistent running the ball. They have a good scheme.”

His only prior start came at Vanderbilt when he made 12 tackles.

Holland did not play in last night’s game.
