Tigers thin at MLB

Jake Holland is expected to return to the starting middle linebacker role after not playing last week with an injured right ankle. Cassanova McKinzy, who started his second career game in place of Holland last week, has an undisclosed right foot injury which Auburn coach Gene Chizik said will continue to be evaluated.

After McKinzy the depth chart gets very thin. Ashton Richardson has his Rhodes Scholarship interviews Saturday morning in Birmingham and is unlikely to be back in time. Justin Garrett has had an undisclosed injury but Chizik is hopeful he’ll be at “full-speed” for Saturday.
