11:07 left – Eddie Lacy scores on a 2-yard touchdown run to cap a 10-play 75-yard drive for Alabama. Auburn had two costly penalties on the drive; a 15-yard personal foul after a 20-yard pass which brought Alabama from own 44 to AU 21, then a pass interference call on third-and-five from the 16.

Pregame news:

Left tackle Greg Robinson returned to Auburn’s starting lineup. A shakeup on the offensive line last week led to Robinson, who started the first 10 games of the season, being replaced by Chad Slade as Christian Westerman make his debut at left guard.
Auburn’s starting offensive line is its consistent lineup of Robinson, left guard John Sullen, center Reese Dismukes, Slade and right tackle Patrick Miller.

Ryan Smith made his second start at free safety in place of Demetruce McNeal.  McNeal, he second-leading tackler (90) for the Tigers, started seven straight games before he was replaced by Trent Fisher last week.

Defensive end Corey Lemonier was out of the starting lineup for the third straight week. Lemonier, a junior, said he will decide whether he’ll forgo his senior season for the NFL Draft based on his performance. He has 29 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
