Auburn flips two commits from SEC foes, loses 4-star RB commit

AUBURN – In a very busy recruiting day, Auburn flipped two commits from SEC schools but lost a commit of its own on Sunday.

The Tigers added 3-star safety Khari Harding, who was previously committed to Arkansas, per his Twitter account.

“Just decommitted from Arkansas so I can be an Auburn Tiger #WDE,” Harding tweeted.

Auburn also added 4-star wide receiver Tony Stevens (Orlando, Fla.), who was committed to Texas A&M, per multiple reports from recruiting websites. Stevens, a US Army All-American, became the first high school commitment under coach Gus Malzahn.

Auburn also lost 4-star running back Jordan Wilkins (Cordova, TN) early Sunday evening, per his Twitter account. He had committed to the Tigers in July of 2012.

“Decommitted from AU…. Thanks for all the love from the fans but I have to do what’s best for me,” Wilkins tweeted.

With Sunday’s commitments and departure, Auburn’s 2013 recruiting class stands at 16.
