Tigers land two more commits in JUCO linebacker Flowers, wideout Walker

AUBURN – Two more recruits pledged to Auburn on Friday, bringing the Tigers 2013 class to 18 commitments.

A third player from Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College pledged to the Tigers as junior college linebacker Kenny Flowers committed in the afternoon, according to the recruiting websites which cover Auburn – AuburnSports.com, Auburn Undercover and Inside the Auburn Tigers. Flowers, rated a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247Sports, joins former Hutchinson teammates Devonte Danzey and Ben Bradley, both of whom have already enrolled in classes.

Previously committed to Texas A&M, the 6-foot-2, 225-pound Flowers led Hutchinson with 106 tackles and made nine tackles for loss including one sack and had an interception, forced a fumbles and recovered two fumbles.

Friday evening the Tigers landed three-star wide out Dominic Walker when he flipped his allegiance from Nebraska to Auburn on a radio show in Orlando. Walker joins Evans high school teammate and fellow wide receiver Tony Stevens, who flipped from Texas A&M to Auburn on Sunday.

“Toughest Decision of my Life man i (sic) feel like a huge truck been lifted of my back but i had to do whats best for the family and myself,” tweeted the 6-2, 195-pound Walker.
