AUBURN — Gus Malzahn will open his first spring practice as Auburn’s head football coach on March 27 at the Auburn Athletic Complex, the school announced Friday.

The Tigers will hold 15 practices, culminating with A-Day on April 20th at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The game time and television details will be announced later.

One of the many questions Malzahn will have to work to determine this spring is who will be the quarterback in 2013. Auburn signed Carver’s Jeremy Johnson, JUCO QB Nick Marshall and McGill Toolen’s Jason Smith to add to Jonathan Wallace and Kiehl Frazier.

Auburn’s 2013 recruiting class, the first under Malzahn, was comprised of 23 signees and is is rated No. 8 by Rivals, No. 11 by 247Sports and No. 14 by Scout.
