Jordan Diamond out of the rough

AUBURN — One of the more heralded members of Auburn’s 2012 signing class is going to be back for spring practice.

Offensive lineman Jordan Diamond, who was forced to redshirt this season after suffering a shoulder injury before the season, tweeted he can return to action.

“Finally. I officially got cleared!” Diamond tweeted. “Taking my game to another level. (Washington State) here we come.”

The return of the 6-6, 323-pound Diamond will form a deeper competition for the left guard position vacated by the graduation of John Sullen. Auburn signed JUCO lineman Devonte Danzey in December and Alex Kozan also redshirted as a freshman last season.
