Auburn part of Day 2 of SEC Media Days

Auburn will be part of Day 2 of the annual SEC Media Days which will be held July 16-18 in Hoover, Ala., the conference announced Thursday afternoon. First-year coach Gus Malzahn will be joined by Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas A&M on July 17.

All four new SEC coaches will be part of the same day’s events on Day 2.

Florida, Ole Miss, Missouri and South Carolina will take part in Day 1 while two-time defending BCS National Champion Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Vanderbilt will be part of Day 3.

Spring football is getting under way across the country and Auburn will kickoff its practices on March 27. The Tigers culminate spring practice with A-Day on April 20.

The SEC announced a spring football coaches teleconference on April 24.
